‘I thoroughly recommend Zoom PT with Alice. It’s every bit as beneficial to my physical and mental health as face-to-face sessions were. You don’t need much space, just enough room to lie down, or much equipment, I only have one kettlebell and a dining room chair! I get all the same advice and support that i had at face-to-face sessions, Alice demos the exercises, corrects my positions and encourages me to push myself and somehow, she makes it all fun! My wife and I completed an 8 week programme with Alice. The results have been amazing. We feel stronger and leaner. I for one felt better on holiday for it! Alice is a very motivating trainer. She actually does all the workouts with you, contrary to a lot of PTs in a gym. She is entertaining and instructive and her workouts varied and most importantly INTENSE! She is so fit that she is hard to keep up with yet she is able to keep talking throughout her workouts!

That being said her plan was tailored closely to us based on our goals, taste and exercise preferences, and our ages and weights. She was incredibly supportive through the programme with weekly text check ins including advice and tips on the diet plan and exercise modifications. She made modifications according to ability and if needed, injury, and her programme was progressive.

The end result was a fast and noticeable improvement in body shape, fitness and strength and much of Alice’s programme has now been fully incorporated into our lives. I highly recommend enrolling with Alice.

‘I have always found finding an exercise routine that I can stick to and stay motivated hard. I cannot recommend Alice highly enough; her programmes are so achievable with workouts lasting 30-45 minutes. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she genuinely cares, checks in on you and motivates you throughout. I am nearly 6 weeks into her 8-week programme and I am noticing a change in my body, feeling healthier, fitter and stronger. I’ve been working with Alice at Boost Studio for a little over 3 years, first with one-to-one Personal Training sessions and more recently with HIIT sessions over Zoom.  The work I’ve done with Alice has been invaluable to keeping me fit, both physically and mentally.  The HIIT sessions are great and allow me the flexibility I need with my current lifestyle.  I try and make the live sessions but if I can’t, I can catch up with recordings later.  Alice keeps the sessions fresh and fun, and throws herself into each one with great passion.  Alice has also been on her own remarkable fitness journey over the past 12 months, which is a great inspiration.  I want my fitness instructor to be positive, fun and to lead by example… Alice ticks all those boxes and more.

Alice - it’s amazing to see our pictures side by side. Thanks so much for all your help and support. We are definitely not natural exercisers so it’s testament to you how much it’s become part of our lifestyle and the progress we’ve made will definitely be kept up. ‘I woke up this morning with anxiety, a mix of PMT, stress about a scary day tomorrow at work and a few other things. I would have normally taken to the sofa and opened a bottle of wine but today I decided to hit the weights, fuel myself properly by sticking 100% to my plan and get out in the garden. I realised that working with you is not only changing my body but my mindset and I wanted to celebrate that.’

 

‘I already did Alice’s classes fairly regularly but I needed focus and accountability to help push my fitness to the next level and to lose some weight. I joined the course at my most busy and disrupted time in my life. Alice has supported me all the way and in return I have undertaken her classes 3 times a week, increasing to 4 then 5 with strength sessions, walked the required steps and logged and shared food diaries and photos. Recognising my starting point after lockdown excess and looking in the mirror was really hard, but I feel I am back on track, I've lost over a stone and I can feel my fitness improving weekly. Most of all whilst I've committed to the course, I've been able to fit it around my busy family and work life. Alice’s positivity and energy is infectious and you work harder as you just don't want to let her down.’

I started the 12-week advanced programme shortly after my 50th Birthday when I was starting to feel that my health and fitness was only heading one way and in the wrong direction. ‘This is me, mucking around in my gym kit. Nothing strange about that maybe except, in September 2020 i was 4 stone heavier and embarrassed of my body. This photo would never have been taken. Working with Alice I feel like a new person. No longer ashamed, feeling like I can take on the world. Still learning about nutrition and exercise and still a long way to go. ‘I've just completed my second 12-week course with Alice. Through exercise and support I've lost 2 stone and 11lbs and I feel like a different person. I’m fitter, healthier and I feel like I can look at myself in the mirror. I’m just about to move onto Alice’s Advanced fitness programme with nutrition plans and I can't wait to see how the food and exercise together will help me reach my fitness goals. I owe Alice so much, she is amazing. She has however cost me ££ as I'm going to need a whole new wardrobe!’
